Lighthouse Charity celebrates 60 years on the Clyde

The Lighthouse Charity’s Scotland West Region marked its 60th anniversary with a standout celebration aboard the Waverley at Glasgow’s Pacific Quay. Over 600 guests enjoyed a scenic cruise to the Tail of the Bank, with crowds along the Clyde joining in the festivities as the paddle steamer sounded its whistle.

Entertainment came from Deacon Blue tribute band Dignity and DJ Robert Mackinnon, creating a vibrant atmosphere that helped raise over £21,000 through ticket sales, sponsorship and donations. Chair Alan Gilmour thanked supporters, volunteers and sponsors – including Endrick Engineering – for making the evening a memorable success.
