Turf Cutting at Central Park, Bishopton

Work is now underway to transform part of the former Royal Ordnance Factory in Bishopton into a new 45-acre community park.

As part of BAE Systems’ ongoing regeneration of Bishopton, Central Park will form a key public space at the heart of Dargavel Village, bringing together open grassland, wildflower meadows and more than 2,000 new trees and shrubs. Over two miles of new paths will connect the park, creating a welcoming green space for the whole community.
